Ideally less is better. Every other day at the most.

What is the Never List?

What does EWG verified mean?
The EWG VERIFIED: For Your Health™ mark will help shoppers quickly and easily identify personal care products, including cosmetics, that meet EWG’s strictest standards while shopping in stores and online. Items bearing the mark must score in the “green” range in EWG’s Skin Deep® cosmetics database and meet additional criteria set by EWG scientists. Beautycounter products are EWG verified.
How often should you do treatments on your hair and skin?
This all depends on the weather, your hair type, skin type, and the treatments. Generally I recommend to do a hair treatment at least once a month. Skin should be exfoliated 1-2 times a week with a mask 1-2 times a month.
How many ingredients are banned in the US?
There are only 30 ingredients banned in the US. We have over 1800 on our Never List.
